Description:
This is a remote position and candidates in the Germany timezones are being considered.
The role is for a Solutions Architect (ProServ) to join the Customer Experience (CX) team at Grafana Labs.
Solutions Architects provide specialized business and technical consultation to help customers achieve their objectives using Grafana.
Customers will have a professional services partner at Grafana who understands their challenges and guides them through training, roadmapping, and specialized consulting.
The Solutions Architect will manage the life-cycle of customer onboarding and adoption of Grafana offerings and features.
Responsibilities include delivering packaged training, quick-starts, session cataloging, project and roadmap assurance, and specialized consulting for high-priority customers.
The role requires hands-on engagement with customers, including business executives, project managers, and IT development staff.
The Solutions Architect must understand complex business and technological requirements and translate them into solution designs.
Speed and adherence to standards and best practices are crucial in this role.
The position involves staying current on Grafana Labs, observability, and related technologies.
The Solutions Architect will be a key resource for Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services teams.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience working on deployment teams and using project management techniques.
Direct experience with observability (o11y) is required.
Knowledge of best practices for using and deploying an o11y stack, preferably with Grafana products, is essential.
A proven track record of successful delivery of customer projects, particularly enterprise o11y implementations for large customers, is necessary.
Candidates should be self-starters, adept at picking up new skills and technologies, and eager to innovate.
Excellent communication skills are required to interact with customers, partners, and internal teams.
Candidates must possess executive presence and experience with *nix and Windows Server Administration.
Familiarity with Kubernetes (kubectl, Helm, Tanka preferred) is required.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure is necessary.
Systems architecture design and software engineering experience, or the ability to read code (GoLang/JS/TypeScript), is required.
Benefits:
The base compensation range for this role in Germany is €104,000 - €125,000, with actual compensation varying based on level, experience, and skillset.
