Description:
The Senior Solutions Engineer at Twilio will work closely with industry-leading companies to solve technical problems and contribute to acquiring new customers.
Responsibilities include partnering with Account Executives for pre-sales activities, becoming an expert in Segment’s products, leading technical evaluations, and advising customers on their data strategy.
The role involves developing expertise in Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and influencing Segment’s strategy based on customer feedback.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a commitment to closing deals, and a customer-focused problem-solving approach.
Required qualifications include 3+ years of experience in a solutions engineering role, technical understanding, and experience with data engineering and marketing technology.
Desired qualifications include experience with customer data platforms, building websites or mobile apps, and knowledge of data analytics or machine learning.
This remote position is not eligible for hire in certain locations, including San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose, CA.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in a solutions engineering (presales) role with 6+ years of progressive professional experience supporting technical products.
Curiosity and understanding of technical concepts.
Commitment to closing deals and customer-focused problem-solving skills.
Ability to quickly switch context throughout the day and experience with Data Engineering, Cloud Data Warehouses, Data Modeling, and APIs.
Experience with marketing technology and a passion for learning and sharing knowledge.
Familiarity with customer data platforms, cloud infrastructure, and data analytics or machine learning.
