Description:
The Senior Solutions Engineer at ShipBob will be part of the Revenue team, focusing on understanding the strategic needs of small to medium and mid-market clients to facilitate their growth and success.
Responsibilities include designing solutions that align with merchants' objectives, collaborating with Sales, Implementation, and Success teams, and executing technical solutions with Product, Engineering, and Implementation teams.
The role involves guiding sales stages, staying updated on industry trends, building best practices, and coaching other solutions engineers.
Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
Requirements:
7-9 years of experience in a merchant-facing, technical role in SaaS/e-commerce.
Ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders effectively.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills to explain technical matters clearly to stakeholders.
Experience in e-commerce platforms, order management systems, inventory management, WMS, TMS, supply chain, and logistics.
Familiarity with APIs, SQL, scripting languages (Ruby or Python), and embedded systems.
Strong interpersonal skills, project management abilities, and experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with high-growth or early-stage startup experience preferred.
