Description:
The Solutions Engineering team at Grafana Labs is responsible for educating potential and existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and success.
Solutions Engineers act as customer-facing product experts, sharing technical and product knowledge through demos, presentations, and ongoing interactions.
They collaborate closely with the Sales team to qualify and close opportunities, serving as a communication bridge between customers and the Product Management and Engineering teams.
Responsibilities include articulating the Grafana value proposition, owning technical engagements, delivering product presentations, and providing feedback on products and the competitive landscape.
Solutions Engineers drive product conversations based on customer needs and contribute to enhancing documentation and creating enablement materials.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, preferably with Open Source technologies or in the Metrics/Monitoring space.
The role requires openness to complex assignments, strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership skills.
First-class written and oral communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with remote teams and worldwide customers.
A passion for solving technical challenges and a creative approach to providing solutions to customers is necessary.
A technical mindset and a desire for technical growth are important.
Candidates must be located in the Northern California region of the US.

The OTE compensation range for this role in Australia is AUD 191,000 - AUD 230,000, with actual compensation varying based on experience and skillset.
