Description:

The Senior Solutions Engineer will work on an AI-powered data exchange platform that enhances enterprise data flow efficiency.
This role involves driving the technical implementation of the platform to ensure seamless integration into various client environments.
The engineer will collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to design, configure, and deploy solutions that utilize Flatfile’s data onboarding capabilities.
Responsibilities include creating proofs-of-concept (POCs) during the pre-sales phase and guiding customers through their desired end-state implementations post-sales.
The position requires a full-stack approach, combining technical expertise with a customer-first mindset to ensure successful integration and customer satisfaction.
The engineer will lead the configuration and customization of the platform, partner with customers to create tailored solutions, and troubleshoot technical issues during implementation.
The role also involves designing custom data workflows and collaborating with internal teams to provide feedback on customer use cases.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions architecture, or technical implementation roles.
A minimum of 2 years in customer-facing technical roles is required.
Proficiency in TypeScript and/or JavaScript with deep, production-level full-stack experience is essential.
A strong understanding of APIs, data serialization formats (CSV, XML, JSON), and software integration best practices is necessary.
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is required.
Familiarity with data transformation and validation processes, as well as handling structured data imports and exports, is important.
Candidates should possess problem-solving skills and the ability to translate customer needs into effective solutions.
A startup mindset characterized by adaptability, proactiveness, and a desire to improve processes is preferred.
