Description:

• Coder is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer - Channel to enhance their enterprise software offerings.
• The role involves partnering with enterprise account managers, customer success, and product teams to develop a network of technology, system integrator, and value-added reseller partners.
• The Senior Solutions Engineer will be the first sales engineer on the Partners Team.
• Responsibilities include winning over key technical champions at prospective partners, crafting MVPs of integrated solutions, and understanding the technical challenges faced by the ideal customer profile (ICP).
• The position requires delivering compelling demonstrations of Coder's capabilities alongside partner technologies.
• The engineer will design, implement, and support world-class solutions for customers and act as a key technical resource for partner sales and delivery teams.
• The role also involves providing product feedback to engineering and troubleshooting partner deployments, including networking and Kubernetes components.
• Collaboration with customer success management and support organizations is essential to create a technical onboarding program for partners.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 5+ years of experience as a Senior Solutions Engineer in Channel/Partnerships.
• Strong customer-facing skills and the ability to earn trust are essential.
• Comfort in providing product demonstrations and architecture overviews to technical stakeholders is required.
• Experience in leading detailed technical troubleshooting sessions is necessary.
• Deep knowledge of Linux operating systems is a must.
• Demonstrated experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is required.
• Candidates should have cloud experience in one or more of the following: AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Terraform is necessary.
• A strong knowledge of computer networking, specifically ingress controllers, proxies, and load balancers, is required.
• A strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment are essential.
