Remote Senior Solutions Engineer - Channel

Description:

• Coder is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer - Channel to support enterprise account managers, customer success, and product teams in building a network of technology, system integrator, and value-added reseller partners.
• The role involves winning the support of key technical champions at prospective partners, including those in product, engineering, architecture, and professional services.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with partners and the Coder ecosystem engineering team to create MVPs of integrated solutions and service offerings.
• The engineer will need to understand the technical challenges faced by the ideal customer profile (ICP) and how Coder can address these challenges.
• The position requires delivering compelling demonstrations of Coder's capabilities alongside partner technologies and offerings.
• The engineer will design, implement, and support high-quality solutions for customers.
• Acting as the key technical resource for partner sales and delivery teams is essential to win new joint customers and expand existing opportunities.
• The role includes serving as the voice of the customer/partner organization and providing product feedback to the engineering team.
• Responsibilities also involve implementing and troubleshooting a partner’s Coder deployment, including networking and Kubernetes components.
• The engineer will work with customer success management and support organizations to develop a technical onboarding program for partners.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 5+ years of experience as a Senior Solutions Engineer in Channel/Partnerships.
• Strong customer-facing skills are required, including the ability to earn trust.
• Comfort in providing product demonstrations, including architecture overviews to technical stakeholders, is necessary.
• Experience leading detailed technical troubleshooting sessions is essential.
• Candidates should possess deep knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Demonstrated experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is required.
• Cloud experience in one or more of the following platforms: AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure is necessary.
• Experience with Terraform is required.
• A strong knowledge of computer networking, specifically ingress controllers, proxies, and load balancers, is essential.
• A strong work ethic and the ability to move quickly in a startup environment are necessary.
