Jobber is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join their Product Engineering & Partnerships department, focusing on integrations and partnerships solutions to enhance customer experience.
The role involves working with small home service businesses to improve their service delivery through technology, enabling them to quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments efficiently.
The Senior Solutions Engineer will be part of a rapidly growing Partnerships ecosystem, collaborating with the Platform Experience Engineering team and Business Development group.
Responsibilities include proposing and designing solutions with Business Development, developing integration strategies, optimizing API solutions, and acting as a liaison between technical teams and external stakeholders.
The position requires providing technical support to partners, identifying opportunities for innovation, and participating in code reviews to ensure code quality.
The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features and mentoring team members for professional growth.

Requirements:

Candidates must have previous experience in a solutions engineering or similar role.
Proven experience in application marketplace development and management is required.
Strong knowledge of API technologies, including REST and GraphQL, is essential.
Excellent communication skills and collaborative problem-solving abilities are necessary.
Demonstrated expertise in developing scalable software solutions across multiple technology layers is required.
Proven leadership experience in managing complex projects and contributing significantly to team efforts is needed.
Exceptional proficiency in software design, architecture, and coding with a focus on maintainability and performance is expected.
Strong self-motivation and resourcefulness, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize tasks effectively, are important.
A passion for continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies is essential.
Experience in a tech leadership role and familiarity with the development stack (React, React Native, TypeScript, GraphQL API layer, Ruby on Rails on AWS) is a plus but not mandatory.
