Remote Senior Solutions Engineer - DACH

• The Senior Solutions Engineer is a hands-on, technical solution engineering position focused on working closely with sales teams during the technical sales process across the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) territory.
• This individual will participate in web meetings, phone, email, and in-person direct prospect and customer interactions to quickly assess requirements, demonstrate SnapLogic's innovative products, and support proof of concept/proof of value engagements.
• The role will also involve troubleshooting product issues and/or providing acceptable workarounds, documenting product enhancements, and communicating with SnapLogic's Product Management team.
• Responsibilities include partnering with Enterprise Account Executives and the Channel and Alliances team to qualify and technically prove opportunities for SnapLogic in the DACH region.
• The Senior Solutions Engineer will prepare and present solutions to address cloud, on-premise, and hybrid integration requirements with prospective customers, focusing on business value and technological innovation.
• They will respond to requests for information/proposals, emphasizing SnapLogic's position as a leader in GenAI adoption for enterprise integration.
• The role involves scoping, documenting, and executing successful proof of concepts, showcasing SnapLogic's cutting-edge technology and its impact on business processes.
• Developing high-level designs and architectures for prospective customers' deployment of SnapLogic's products tailored to DACH market needs is also a key responsibility.
• The engineer will engage with peers in sharing best practices and learnings, embodying the "be epic" motto through continuous improvement and innovation.
• They will work with SnapLogic inter-department personnel locally and globally, including professional services, sales, product management, customer success, and engineering.
• The role requires becoming a trusted technical advisor to customers, helping them leverage SnapLogic's solutions to drive digital transformation and AI integration.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be serious A+ players looking to be part of the fastest-growing iPaaS company, ready to "be epic" in driving GenAI adoption in enterprise integration.
• A minimum of 5 years of technical experience in the DACH market is required.
• Experience in product applications, the ability to understand and explain related technical issues, and effective communication skills in both German and English are essential.
• Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in a pre-sales environment for a software vendor in the iPaaS, API management, ETL, ESB, or similar space, preferably with experience in the DACH region.
• Excellent written and presentation skills are necessary, with the ability to consult and empathize with customers, focusing on their specific business challenges and technological needs.
• Strong hands-on relational database skills, as well as knowledge of SaaS and cloud computing/web 2.0 technologies, are required.
• Knowledge or experience in Generative AI, prompt engineering, RAG, and Agentic is a significant advantage.
• Candidates should have experience running proof of concept engagements from start to finish, focusing on demonstrating tangible business value.
• Hands-on experience with programming, particularly in Java, JSON, and Javascript, is a big plus.
• Data and application integration knowledge and experience, particularly in the context of DACH market requirements, are necessary.
• A university degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related technical degree is preferred.
• Start-up experience is a big plus, demonstrating agility and an innovation mindset.
