Description:

  • The Senior Solutions Engineer will be part of the Solutions Consulting team in EMEA, focusing on strengthening partnerships with key industry players such as System Integrators, VARs, ISVs, and CSPs.
  • The role involves acting as the technical authority on BigID’s platform, providing support to alliance and channel teams, and engaging in partner and sales activities.
  • Responsibilities include collaborating with partners to develop unique solutions, leading enablement sessions, maintaining demo environments, and assisting partners with deploying BigID solutions.
  • The position requires strong communication skills, a deep understanding of enterprise data architecture, and experience in a solutions consulting or pre-sales engineering role.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess strong customer-facing communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven experience in a solutions consulting or pre-sales engineering role, particularly in supporting global alliances or partnerships, is required.
  • A deep understanding of enterprise data architecture, privacy, and security technologies is essential.
  • Familiarity with data management technologies, including RDBMS systems and cloud technologies, is necessary.
  • Experience with Linux or container frameworks such as Docker and Kubernetes is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity and metadata integration patterns is important for assisting technical architects.
  • Candidates should have the ability to plan and execute joint partner offerings and a minimum of 5 years in a relevant role.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is required; a Master’s degree is a plus.
