Description:

• Replicated is a Commercial Software Distribution Platform that helps software vendors distribute their applications into self-hosted environments like VPC, on-prem, and air gap.
• The company provides a suite of tools for installation, testing, licensing, and support, making it the best way to operationalize and scale the distribution of Kubernetes applications.
• The Solutions Engineer will guide prospects and customers through their journey on the Replicated Platform, from initial contact to successful implementation.
• Responsibilities include demonstrating the platform, leading customer evaluations, and answering technical questions.
• The role involves extensive collaboration with Account Executives, Product Managers, and Developers to influence product direction and ensure customer success.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have senior-level experience in technical pre-sales, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
• A strong technical background with experience in containers, Kubernetes, and Helm is essential.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes distributions and cloud platforms is required.
• Candidates should be able to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Understanding of continuous integration, continuous deployment, and platform engineering is necessary.
• A passion for collaborating with customers and guiding them through the evaluation and purchasing process is important.
• Empathy and curiosity in all interactions are essential traits.
• A proven track record of ensuring the long-term success of opportunities and accounts is required.
• Experience in developing software for customer-managed environments and managing infrastructure in an SRE or platform engineering role is a plus.
