The Senior Solution Engineer will drive exceptional results in a B2B SaaS environment.
This role involves owning the technical win in the sales cycle and participating in deal strategy and positioning.
Solution Engineers will identify and align with prospects’ challenges and goals, demonstrating how the solution delivers value.
The position requires collaboration with the Sales team to win new business and with cross-functional teams like Product.
Successful Solution Engineers possess strong technical aptitude and are confident storytellers.
Responsibilities include supporting the Sales team with technical proof, tailoring demonstrations, identifying opportunities for new features, building relationships with prospects, and mentoring team members.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience configuring and selling software, preferably in technology/SaaS.
A positive, team player mentality with strong time management, organization, and presentation skills is essential.
Deep technical aptitude and curiosity for learning new technologies in a fast-paced environment are required.
Experience with building Excel models or a programming language (e.g., SQL, Python) is necessary.
Candidates should have a creative approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate effectively in written responses.
The ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment is crucial.
Experience working cross-functionally with product, support, marketing, and other functions is needed.
Strong collaboration skills to work with team members and drive a great team culture are important.
Proficiency with popular CRMs (e.g., Salesforce), ERPs (e.g., Netsuite), and/or billing systems (e.g., Zuora) is required.
