Description:
The Senior Specialty Solutions Engineer - Monitoring & Observability position is a full-time remote role based in the United States.
The role is ideal for individuals who thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and wish to become thought leaders within a forward-thinking organization.

The position involves developing solutions to meet customer business outcomes while building personal brand and career.
Candidates will work with customers who may be new to Monitoring & Observability practices or have established processes that need enhancement for digital transformation.
The ideal candidate is an independent, self-driven thought leader who enjoys interfacing with customers and team members.
Responsibilities include partnering with sales, delivery, and solution engineering teams to achieve customer success through thought leadership.
The role requires a consultative approach to discover and map business outcome-driven solutions.
Candidates will demonstrate and prototype platform capabilities and identify specific requirements for innovative application prototypes.
The position also involves providing solutions and enablement to the technical salesforce and offering product and solution advice during pre-sales discussions.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 2+ years of technical experience with infrastructure operations and monitoring solutions, such as Logic Monitor, AppD, Data Dog, and Dynatrace.
A minimum of 3+ years of technical experience with Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud, and Splunk Enterprise Security is required.
Candidates should have 3+ years of experience acting as a consultant for clients, advising on technical solutions, and participating in pre-sales and solution development.
Enterprise experience with cloud infrastructure, networking, and system administration is necessary.
Experience in architecture leadership that integrates solutions across multiple vendors is required.
Candidates must have the ability to evaluate new technologies and provide internal training.
The ability to understand customer needs, define requirements, and design solutions is essential.
Candidates should be able to develop and present architectural recommendations and implementation/assessment services.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Candidates must possess excellent presentation skills and extensive experience with Visio and PowerPoint.
A strong technical aptitude is necessary.
Candidates should provide technical leadership to assure quality and maximize team output.
Self-motivation is essential for this role.
Experience with Cribl and Big Panda is a plus.
Experience with automation and advanced configuration management tools is also a plus.
