The Senior Specialty Solutions Engineer will collaborate with sales, delivery, and solution engineering teams to ensure customer success through thought leadership and awareness.
This role involves a consultative approach to identify and map business outcome-driven solutions for customers and prospects.
Responsibilities include driving innovative business solutions, consulting with clients to understand their needs, architecting solutions on the ServiceNow platform, and demonstrating platform capabilities.
The engineer will conduct workshops, interact with the ServiceNow community, translate business challenges into requirements, and develop documentation and pricing for customers.
The position requires maintaining pre-sales ServiceNow certifications and learning about other technologies that integrate with ServiceNow.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of experience as a solution/sales engineer or consultant for a software company is required.
Strong functional knowledge of the ServiceNow platform across multiple modules is essential.
ITIL Foundations v3 or higher certification and/or working knowledge of ITIL concepts is necessary.
A working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology is required.
Candidates should have a passion for problem-solving and solution selling.
Knowledge of web and mobile app development, business modeling, database concepts, and project management using Agile methodologies is preferred.
Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills are required, with the ability to present technical material clearly.
Deep insight into technical architectures, IT products, and product positioning is necessary.
ServiceNow certifications and accreditations are strongly desired.
Experience with other SaaS platforms such as Tanium, Atlassian, Big Panda, Splunk, Data Dog, and Logic Monitor is a plus.
Understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and frameworks like AngularJS, jQuery, and Bootstrap fundamentals is advantageous.
Experience with monitoring solutions, IoT, machine learning, and emerging technologies is a plus.
Understanding of web services (SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML) is beneficial.
A college degree (or equivalent experience) in Software Engineering, Computer Sciences, or a related discipline is required.
