This is an exciting opportunity to join the SRE team at Stensul, based in Latin America, working on the core platform and implementations for major brands, including Fortune 500 and Cloud 100 companies.
The role focuses on ensuring the availability of Stensul's platform and embracing SRE principles such as risk management, monitoring SLOs, eliminating toil, and fostering collaboration.
Responsibilities include assisting internal stakeholders with infrastructure-related technical issues, serving as a technical reference, encouraging innovation through experimentation, and learning new technologies.

Requirements:

Strong communication skills are essential for this position.
Candidates should possess lean thinking and a desire to continue learning.
A minimum of three (3) years of experience managing a Public Cloud Provider deployment is required, with a preference for Google Cloud, though AWS or Azure experience is also acceptable.
Proficiency in Linux usage and administration is necessary.
Experience managing Kubernetes resources or clusters, preferably GKE, is required.
Candidates should have knowledge of Linux-like operating systems such as CentOS, Ubuntu, or Alpine.
Experience with system-level troubleshooting, including understanding logs and using tools like strace, netstat, and top/htop, is required.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus or DataDog/NewRelic is necessary.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Bash, Python, and Go is required.
An understanding of distributed systems and knowledge of algorithms and data structures is essential.
Experience with version control systems, specifically Git (GitLab), is required.
Familiarity with declarative infrastructure tools is necessary.
