The Senior Staff Data Engineer will lead the development of data infrastructure, including ingestion, ETL/ELT, aggregations, processing, quality checks, and regulatory compliance.
This role involves collaborating with various teams to create innovative solutions that enhance the company's FinTech offerings.
Responsibilities include setting the strategic vision for data infrastructure, providing technical leadership, collaborating with data scientists, establishing best practices, engineering automated CI/CD pipelines, optimizing data infrastructure, and staying updated on industry trends.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 12+ years of experience in data engineering, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a Master's degree with equivalent experience.
Extensive experience in developing end-to-end data engineering infrastructure for large-scale applications is required.
Proven leadership skills in guiding technical teams towards innovation and successful outcomes are essential.
Mastery of data engineering architecture and frameworks, including batch and stream processing, is necessary.
Proficiency in Python/PySpark programming and understanding of software engineering principles and version control (Git) is required.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and cloud-native services for data engineering is essential.
A track record of integrating DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is necessary.
Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional communication abilities are required for effective collaboration.
