Description:

Design, develop, and maintain integrations between systems using the Python framework.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Deploy and manage integrations on embedded Linux devices like Ubuntu or Mint.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical problems.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
Act as a Python developer, working with other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements:

Strong experience with Python framework and designing integrations.
Experience deploying and managing applications on Embedded Linux platforms.
Understanding of software development best practices, including design patterns and testing.
Experience with communication protocols like RS232, USB, and Ethernet.
Familiarity with RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
Proficiency in using Git for source code management.
Ability to write automated Unit Tests and API Tests using Python-compatible tools.
Experience with Linux Virtual Machines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred: Experience with scripting languages and Azure DevOps Pipelines.
Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
Desirable: Background in the Power Utilities industry.
Desirable: Knowledge of Apache Kafka or Microsoft Event Hubs.
Desirable: Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and technologies.
Desirable: Experience with OpenAPI RESTful API Documentation using Swagger and YAML.
