Remote Senior Staff Engineer - Data Scientist

Description:

• The company is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer - Data Scientist with experience in Python, data wrangling, machine learning models, decision tree, random forest, linear modeling, optimization, and SQL.
• Responsibilities include working on product support and development, analyzing large-scale data sets, developing optimization and statistical models, collaborating with stakeholders, framing business requirements into analytical solutions, communicating insights, identifying trends and patterns, automating data collection processes, and working with engineering and product development teams.

Requirements:

• Must have strong skills in Python for Data Science, PostgreSQL, SQL, and machine learning models like Decision Tree, Random Forest, Data wrangling, Linear modeling, and Optimization.
• Working experience and knowledge in optimization is required.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst.
• Analytical mindset, business acumen, and problem-solving aptitude.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with supply chain optimization and Gurobi Optimize is a plus.
