Remote Senior Staff Engineer, PHP Developer

Description:

• The Senior Staff Engineer, PHP Developer will be responsible for designing and developing B2C and B2B eCommerce applications using Magento 2 and modern frameworks.
• They will work on eCommerce migration projects and have experience with Magento 2.4.x Commerce Cloud.
• The role involves envisioning eCommerce solutions based on functional and non-functional requirements, defining technologies, patterns, and best practices to implement them.
• The developer will be well-versed in multi-site design and architecture, setting up global architecture, backend integrations, and application functionality independently.
• They will evaluate and optimize application performance, write efficient code, and understand business requirements to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.
• The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of core concepts such as Data Modelling, Cronjobs, Rest APIs/GraphQL, Headless design, Laravel framework, MVC, OOPS concepts, Elastic Search, and integrations with 3rd party systems.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Magento 2 and experience with Magento 2.4.x Commerce Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of B2C and B2B eCommerce application design and development.
• Experience with eCommerce migration projects and multi-site design.
• Ability to write efficient, testable code and optimize application performance.
• Understanding of Data Modelling, Cronjobs, Rest APIs/GraphQL, Headless design, Laravel framework, MVC, OOPS concepts, Elastic Search, and integrations with 3rd party systems.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with business and technical teams effectively.
