Remote Senior / Staff Full Stack Engineer (f/m/d)

• Kaia is seeking a Senior or Staff-Level Full Stack Engineer with a strong product focus and architecture skills to join their team in Barcelona.
• The role involves developing new user-facing features, collaborating with cross-functional teams, moderating architecture dialogue, and optimizing applications for speed and simplicity.
• The technology stack includes vue.js, Rails, K8s on AWS managed with ArgoCD, native mobile (Swift, Kotlin), and ML (Python/Django/PyTorch).

Requirements:

• Proficiency in web technologies (specifically Vue) and a backend stack (specifically Rails).
• Experience with relational databases like Postgres, data modeling, and data quality.
• Ability to articulate and balance architecture tradeoffs and anticipate long-term outcomes of architecture choices.
• Experience in a "you build it you run it" environment, including setting up an SDLC, managing deployments, and infrastructure.
• Intrinsic desire to learn and adapt to fill in missing skills needed for the role.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with loosely defined tasks and competing priorities.
• Strong communication skills both verbally and in written form.
