Description:
Honor is seeking a Senior Staff Full Stack Engineer to join their team and work on the product that powers their operations team in delivering high-quality home care.
The role involves collaborating with product managers and stakeholders to define, design, and implement solutions that address both immediate needs and long-term goals.
The ideal candidate should thrive in ambiguity, tackle technical debt, and deliver innovative products that make an impact.
Responsibilities include owning the end-to-end design and development of features in a full-stack environment, collaborating closely with product management and cross-functional teams, identifying opportunities for data-driven actions, driving continuous improvement and innovation, and mentoring other engineers.
Requirements:
Strong proficiency in Python, React, and AWS is required.
Candidates must have a proven ability to work through ambiguity and solve complex problems.
Experience managing technical debt while delivering new features is essential.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary, especially in a remote environment.
A commitment to owning work from end to end is expected.
Prior experience on data products or an interest in foundational data analytics is a plus.
Experience working at a technology startup and knowledge of microservice architecture and best practices are preferred.
Candidates should be comfortable with frontend development and have experience with JavaScript frameworks like React.
Experience leveraging observability and monitoring tools like DataDog is beneficial.
Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation in collaboration with the tier 1 support team (about 7 days per quarter) is required.
