Description:

  • Honor is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer (Full-Stack) to enhance their operations team in delivering high-quality home care.
  • The role involves collaborating with product managers and stakeholders to define, design, and implement solutions that meet both immediate and long-term needs.
  • The candidate should thrive in ambiguity, tackle technical debt, and deliver innovative products that have a significant impact.
  • Responsibilities include owning the end-to-end design and development of features, collaborating with cross-functional teams, addressing technical debt, driving continuous improvement, and mentoring other engineers.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Python, React, and AWS is required.
  • The candidate must have a proven ability to work through ambiguity and solve complex problems.
  • Experience in managing technical debt while delivering new features is essential.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary, especially in a remote work environment.
  • A commitment to owning work from end to end is expected.
  • Experience with relational database models and production-grade features in Python or similar languages is preferred.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and cloud services like AWS or GCP is required.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation with the tier 1 support team is necessary.
