Description:
The Senior Staff Information Security Analyst will be part of the Office of the CISO team at ServiceNow, focusing on enhancing security and communicating security features to customers and partners.
This role involves supporting the Sales Team in both pre-sales and post-sales efforts, responding to customer inquiries related to security, and conducting security calls with customers.
The analyst will lead security conversations, present on cloud adoption and assurance, and contribute to the messaging and positioning of the Security Office.
Responsibilities include managing the customer cloud security experience, participating in security industry forums, and investigating cloud threats.
The analyst will act as an escalation point for security incidents, work with internal teams to resolve security issues, and conduct post-mortems for remediation.
The role may require proposing structural or design changes to improve the security posture of ServiceNow's cloud environment.
Requirements:
Canadian Citizenship is required for this position.
Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in Cloud Security.
Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, along with strong interpersonal and customer-facing abilities.
Experience with Cloud Operations, either as a customer or provider, is required.
Candidates should possess expertise in enterprise cyber defense techniques and have desired industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CSSP, CEH, or equivalent.
A general understanding of ITIL and ITSM is necessary, along with hands-on experience in Security Incident Handling and remediation.
Expert knowledge of Internet security protocols and technologies is required, as well as an understanding of the sales life cycle.
Candidates should have expertise in threat analysis, a deep understanding of Security Operations, and the ability to articulate complex issues to executives and customers.
Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently are crucial for success in this role.
