Description:

  • The Senior Staff Information Security Analyst will be part of the Office of the CISO team at ServiceNow, focusing on enhancing security and communicating security features to customers and partners.
  • This role involves supporting the Sales Team in both pre-sales and post-sales efforts, responding to customer inquiries related to security, and conducting security calls with customers.
  • The analyst will lead security conversations, present on cloud adoption and assurance, and contribute to the messaging and positioning of the Security Office.
  • Responsibilities include managing the customer cloud security experience, participating in security industry forums, and investigating cloud threats.
  • The analyst will act as an escalation point for security incidents, work with internal teams to resolve security issues, and conduct post-mortems for remediation.
  • The role may require proposing structural or design changes to improve the security posture of ServiceNow's cloud environment.

Requirements:

  • Canadian Citizenship is required for this position.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in Cloud Security.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, along with strong interpersonal and customer-facing abilities.
  • Experience with Cloud Operations, either as a customer or provider, is required.
  • Candidates should possess expertise in enterprise cyber defense techniques and have desired industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CSSP, CEH, or equivalent.
  • A general understanding of ITIL and ITSM is necessary, along with hands-on experience in Security Incident Handling and remediation.
  • Expert knowledge of Internet security protocols and technologies is required, as well as an understanding of the sales life cycle.
  • Candidates should have expertise in threat analysis, a deep understanding of Security Operations, and the ability to articulate complex issues to executives and customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently are crucial for success in this role.
