Description:
Guide the technical design, implementation, and optimization of global infrastructure services, primarily focused on the Hybrid Cloud initiative.
Research and recommend new technology solutions that meet business requirements.
Ensure architecture and design provide reliability and redundancy for all IT Services.
Manage projects and program components to deliver services by established objectives.
Develop and maintain high-quality documentation for supported infrastructure.
Automate operational activities for Windows, Linux, and Cloud-related technologies.
Partner with ServiceNow developers to integrate Systems technologies with the ServiceNow platform.
Ensure compliance with SOX and other legal and regulatory requirements in the infrastructure area.
Set up an observability tool (like Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, or Elastic search capabilities) and own logging, monitoring tools, and traces.
Manage integrations with different SaaS platforms to bring logs into the Observability platform.
Work with infrastructure, systems, and cloud technologies as needed.
Requirements:
Deep experience designing and administrating public cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service in Azure or AWS.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing and developing Windows and Linux IT Systems.
Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell.
Experience with vSphere ESXi 5/6 and managing highly-virtualized infrastructure.
Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory architecture, design, and configuration.
Preferred: Experience in other scripting languages, supporting and managing HPC, working with REST or SOAP based API's, crafting advanced Splunk queries, Exchange Online (O365), SAN storage, fiber switches, load balancing technology, relational databases, Single sign-on solutions, ServiceNow platform, configuration management, and strong security understanding.
Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
