Description:

• GoFundMe is hiring a Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer to design and implement next-generation machine learning and AI-based services.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 9+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning, data science, and analytics, with a proven track record of leading complex projects and deploying solutions in production environments.
• Extensive knowledge of ML algorithms and a deep understanding of statistical modeling is required, along with proficiency in Python development tools and libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn, Pytest, PySpark, SQL, Airflow, MLflow, and Hugging Face Transformers.
• Experience with large language models (LLMs) is preferred, including familiarity with commercial solutions like OpenAI API and AWS Bedrock, as well as open-source models and frameworks.
• Candidates should demonstrate the ability to mentor ML engineers and foster a collaborative environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary, along with the ability to apply creative solutions to real-world challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to convey complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
• A Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
• A sense of humor is appreciated but optional.
