Description:

• Zscaler is seeking an experienced Senior Staff Engineer to join their Platform team within the Core Platform Services organization.
• The role involves shaping a state-of-the-art platform for deploying and managing workloads across the company.

• Responsibilities include building scalable and maintainable tools, APIs, and systems to support infrastructure and development teams.
• The engineer will develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployment using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• The role also requires using tools like Trivy, Grype, or Anchore to scan for vulnerabilities in container images.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 9+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on DevOps practices and a proven ability to design and implement scalable systems in production environments.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, Java, or Rust are required, along with expertise in containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI is essential.
• A deep understanding of DevOps principles, tools, and techniques, including infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management, is necessary.
