Description:
Zscaler is seeking an experienced Senior Staff Engineer to join their Platform team within the Core Platform Services organization.
The role involves shaping a state-of-the-art platform for deploying and managing workloads across the company.
The position is remote and part of one of the fastest-growing teams at Zscaler, working in an agile and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities include building scalable and maintainable tools, APIs, and systems to support infrastructure and development teams.
The engineer will develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployment using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
The role also requires using tools like Trivy, Grype, or Anchore to scan for vulnerabilities in container images.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 9+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on DevOps practices and a proven ability to design and implement scalable systems in production environments.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, Java, or Rust are required, along with expertise in containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI is essential.
A deep understanding of DevOps principles, tools, and techniques, including infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management, is necessary.
