Description:
The Senior Staff SAP BASIS Administrator will provide leadership for SAP BASIS activities, ensuring oversight and accountability for the delivery of services for ongoing projects and SRE operations.
This role will be heavily engaged in NBC Universal Project Keystone, a multi-year program aimed at transforming NBCU's existing Finance systems to SAP S/4.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's, Master's, or higher degree in Computer Science or Information Systems from an accredited institution or equivalent is required.
Candidates must have 12+ years of SAP BASIS work experience.
Experience with services on SAP RISE and SAP ECS is necessary.
Applicants should have previously worked on at least 5 multi-country SAP project implementations of high complexity, at large scale, and with a global user base.
Hands-on, in-depth SAP BASIS knowledge is essential.
Demonstrated experience with SAP & SAP HANA on AWS public cloud is required.
The ability to work collaboratively across project teams is necessary.
Candidates must be able to work flexible hours based on varying business requirements.
An understanding of OLTP and OLAP systems, including specific roles of SAP SOH & S/4 HANA, BW, PO, Solution Management, SLT, Gateway, and Enterprise Portal is required.
Knowledge of SAP application architecture, SAP NetWeaver technology (ABAP and Java), work-process roles, ICM, IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, Logon Load Balancing, and SAP router configuration and setup is necessary.
Familiarity with deployment approaches and strategies for SAP GUI, EPM add-on, Analysis for Office (AOE), and SAP HANA Studio is required.
Experience with Fiori and other advanced SAP stacks is necessary.
A good understanding of best SAP practices, archiving, system copies, single-sign-on, encryption, and SAP SNC is required.
Candidates must have experience integrating and operating 3rd party applications required for change management processes, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Skills in installing, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting SAP applications and SAP HANA Databases are necessary.
Following protocols and standards specific to SAP large scale implementation is required.
Experience working with SAP support on troubleshooting various issues, understanding the nature of the problem, raising OSS incidents, and providing necessary support to SAP analysts is essential.
