• The Senior Staff Security Engineer | AI Risk Specialist position at ServiceNow involves ensuring the identification, assessment, and mitigation of security risks related to artificial intelligence (AI) systems.
• The role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams to guarantee that AI applications are secure, compliant with regulations, and operate within acceptable risk parameters.
• Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive security risk assessments of AI systems, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities specific to AI technologies, and establishing frameworks for accepting AI security risks.
• The position involves providing input to AI security policies, procedures, and controls, developing strategies to manage and mitigate AI-related security risks, and working closely with various teams to align on AI security objectives.
• Continuous monitoring of AI security measures, staying updated on AI regulation developments, and advancements in AI and security technologies to address new risks are also part of the role.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, or a related field. A minor or master’s in business administration (MBA) is preferred.
• Certificate or Master program focused on artificial intelligence development.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in threat modeling and/or security analysis for AI/ML systems. Recommended 5 years of experience in information security.
• Strong understanding of AI and machine learning technologies, Python experience, common adversarial attacks against AI/ML Systems, relevant regulations and standards, common software vulnerabilities, security risk assessment frameworks, and methodologies for securing AI/ML systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
