Description:

  • Develop and maintain robust firmware systems for first-of-its-kind hardware, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Limitless engineers, designers, and user research to deliver high-quality firmware solutions that integrate into the Limitless ecosystem.
  • Take responsibility for defining new features, providing systems level architecture and design.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in developing firmware for embedded platforms, particularly in Consumer IoT, low power devices, and wearables. Proficient in C/C++ and familiar with the Zephyr RTOS.
  • Ability to read schematics and data sheets to assess firmware compatibility and limitations. Experienced with a broad range of sensors, peripherals, PMICs, and communication buses. Comfortable using hardware debugging tools, including those in nRF SDKs.
  • Knowledgeable of communication protocols such as standard Bluetooth, BLE, and Wifi. Experience in integrating firmware with server (REST, web sockets, etc.) and mobile applications (iOS / Android).
  • Skilled in power, device state, and thread management. Passionate about enhancing user experience by minimizing power consumption, improving usability, and ensuring security.
  • Experience in audio processing firmware for I/O, managing OTA firmware updates, and knowledgeable of best versioning practices. Familiar with Nordic architectures and capable of contributing to all stages of the development and maintenance cycle.
