As a Senior Staff Software Engineer on the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, you will work cross-functionally to identify business problems and architect, build, and verify solutions.
You will contribute to a platform that enhances the efficiency of legal professionals, bringing a traditional profession into the digital age.
The IAM team manages systems and infrastructure related to user roles and permissions, focusing on authentication, single sign-on (SSO), and advanced access control capabilities.
Responsibilities include collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to design and build features, leading technical discussions, mentoring team members, and participating in recruitment efforts.
The technology stack includes TypeScript, ReactJS, Node.js, Java, and Docker containers in Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 5+ years of software experience in architecting, building, launching, and maintaining complex systems.
Leadership experience across teams and a commitment to improving technical architecture and achieving company-wide goals are essential.
A passion for software engineering and a track record of shipping valuable products to production with user feedback is required.
A high standard for quality and strong cross-team communication and collaboration skills are necessary.
Prior experience with user management at the enterprise level and building robust SCIM API integrations is a plus.
Optional experience with implementing an advanced RBAC model is also beneficial.
