Description:

The Senior Staff Software Engineer will be part of the Repayments Nexus group in Europe, focusing on building tools and systems for customers to repay loans conveniently.
Responsibilities include driving the evolution of the Repayments platform, drafting technical specifications, collaborating with tech leads, creating the engineering strategy, and building APIs and data models.
The role involves mentoring engineers, working with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the growth of the team and efficiency.

Requirements:

10+ years of software engineering experience.
Ability to synthesize complex business, product, and technical requirements for high-quality system designs.
Strong understanding of distributed systems and their impact on performance and maintainability.
Excellent communication skills, project management skills, and a pragmatic approach to project delivery.
Proficiency in Python/Kotlin is a plus, along with experience in AWS or other cloud providers.

Base pay range per year in Poland: 415,000 zł - 515,000 zł.
