Dispel is seeking a Senior System Administrator to join a team of roughly 40 Engineers and OT/IT specialists.
The position is full-time and allows for independent and collaborative work to deliver high-quality solutions.
Proper system administration is crucial for ensuring the deployed infrastructure is up to date and correctly configured.

The company operates fully remotely within the U.S., with an office available in Brooklyn, New York City.
The technology stack includes various operating systems, cloud environments, and tools such as Windows, Linux, Azure, AWS, Terraform, and more.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience, with relevant Linux, Windows, and Cloud certifications preferred.
A strong attention to detail is required, including full lifecycle management of OS and Cloud level configuration and deployment baselines.
Candidates must be able to build and execute patch management plans across 1,000-2,000 cloud and hardware-based nodes.
Familiarity with cyber security standards such as NIST 800-53, IEC62443, ISO27001, SOC 2, and hardening templates including DISA STIGs is necessary.
Candidates should contribute to vulnerability remediation and future-proofing baselines from lessons learned.
A desire and ability to automate processes is essential.
Leadership in System Administration and redundancy methodologies and techniques is expected.
Experience managing and debugging Linux (priority) and Windows operating systems and their software is required.
Excellent communication skills are a must.
Candidates should be willing to accept failure and feedback, learn, and try again.
A passion for learning new disciplines and understanding team members' work is important.
Clear and succinct communication both in-person and over team chat is necessary.
