Description:
The Senior Systems Administrator at Softheon will be responsible for building, maintaining, monitoring, supporting, diagnosing, and repairing the company's physical and virtual systems and networking infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical guidance and implement best practices to optimize cloud-based systems.
Provide second-level technical support escalation to the Softheon Helpdesk for internal staff.
Coordinate resolutions to technical support calls and requests, participate in on-call rotation for critical system issues, and advise the Helpdesk on tasks to increase efficiency.
Deploy, monitor, and administer Softheon's fleet of Virtual Machines, oversee performance management, and maintenance tasks for Microsoft Hyper-V Virtual Machine.
Implement and manage Azure Active Directory, lead changes and upgrades to system, network, and security infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with the Talent team in hiring and recruitment processes, provide guidance and mentorship to team members, and shape the company culture.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
6-10 years of related experience, 5+ years of Microsoft server administration experience.
Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving skills, and effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, work independently and in a team.
Proficient in managing and maintaining server environments across Linux and Windows platforms, Azure services and administration, Microsoft technologies, and virtualization.
Availability to work EST hours, occasional weekends, and overnight hours as needed.
Benefits:
Salary range: $101,000 - $140,000.
