Description:

  • As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Android, you will be responsible for developing privacy-focused, high-performance native libraries to enhance user experiences for app developers.
  • Reporting to the Senior Director of Data Capture, you will play a key role in constructing a cutting-edge behavioral data platform.
  • Your daily tasks will involve reverse engineering Android systems, creating cross-platform solutions, optimizing performance, designing support for new Android features, innovating ways to improve digital experiences, mentoring team members, and contributing to product releases.
  • You will collaborate with Go API specialists and frontend developers to ensure top-notch performance and fidelity.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience programming in C, C++, Rust, or other systems languages.
  • Should have experience building an Android App at scale.
  • Understanding of Android internals, especially Compose and XML-based layout rendering is required.
  • Experience building a Gradle plug-in is necessary.
  • Understanding of Kotlin/Java compilation is a must.
