• Daily responsibilities include reverse engineering Android systems, developing cross-platform solutions, and collaborating with Go API specialists and frontend developers.
• The role requires deep systems programming knowledge and a passion for applying it to Android.
• Typical tasks involve reverse engineering Android systems, developing cross-platform code in Rust, optimizing performance for on-device operations, designing support for new Android features, innovating customer digital experiences, and mentoring team members.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have experience programming in C, C++, Rust, or other systems languages.
• Experience in building an Android App at scale is required.
• A strong understanding of Android internals, particularly Compose and XML-based layout rendering, is necessary.
• Experience in building a Gradle plug-in is essential.
• Understanding of Kotlin/Java compilation is required.
