Remote Senior Team Lead Data Management & Reporting (remote, m/f/d)

Description:

• Lead the data management team in designing and implementing a new data architecture
• Build a high-performance team of data/AI engineers, data scientists, and reporting specialists
• Develop and communicate a clear vision for the company's data architecture and strategy
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data solutions and pipelines
• Lead AI and machine learning initiatives
• Ensure seamless integration of data from various sources into a unified system
• Support in implementing robust data quality and governance practices
• Propose a roadmap for technological development of applications
• Develop and manage comprehensive reporting systems in collaboration with business stakeholders
• Monitor and optimize data systems and applications performance
• Maintain thorough documentation of data processes, architectures, and methodologies
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the data management team
• Drive innovation in data management practices and tools
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies
• Conduct regular 1-on-1s, team meetings, performance reviews, and annual appraisals

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proficiency in data engineering tools and technologies (SQL, Python, DAX, Spark, etc.)
• Ability to develop and implement strategic visions for data architecture and AI capabilities
• Experience with deploying AI solutions
• Experience with IoT data and telemetry data is a plus
• Prior experience leading and managing data management teams
• Ability to quickly understand business concepts and communicate with stakeholders
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for conveying technical concepts and project updates clearly
