Remote Senior Technical Consultant, Network Architect

Description:

• The Senior Technical Consultant, Network Architect will possess a strong understanding of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and IPsec for secure and efficient network communications.
• The role requires expert-level knowledge of networking technologies, WAN communications, and security concepts, including TCP/IP, QoS, MPLS, and IPSec.
• The consultant will participate in the deployment of complex solutions, create written deliverables, and conduct client workshops.
• The ability to communicate and execute architecture strategy and approach in clear, concise, and understandable terms to client senior management and other client stakeholders is essential.
• The consultant must implement design architecture objectives that align with client demand and business goals.
• Receptive listening skills are necessary, along with the ability to present ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent situational leadership and timely decision-making skills are required.
• A passion for successful customer outcomes is crucial.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of networking experience in enterprise environments, with a focus on SD WAN technologies, is required.
• The candidate must have deep hands-on technical knowledge and expertise in Palo Prisma (and native) and Fortinet SD WAN; experience with Silverpeak, Cisco Viptela, Versa, or Velocloud is a plus.
• Deep expertise in route/switch architectures is necessary.
• A strong sense of ownership, problem-solving skills, a sense of urgency, and the ability to be proactive in resolving challenges are essential.
• The candidate must hold a Palo Alto certification: PCNSE or PCNSC.
• A Cisco certification: CCNP or CCIE is required.
• A Fortinet certification is considered a nice to have.
