Description:

AHEAD is seeking a highly skilled Senior Zscaler Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize Zscaler cloud security solutions.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), ensuring secure and seamless network connectivity for enterprise environments.
Key responsibilities include communicating and executing architecture strategy to client senior management, implementing design architecture objectives, and leading the deployment, configuration, and management of Zscaler cloud security solutions.
The role involves designing and implementing Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, defining and optimizing security policies, conducting risk assessments, and providing expertise in troubleshooting complex networking and security issues.
The candidate will assist in cloud migration projects, develop and maintain technical documentation, and train and mentor internal teams on Zscaler best practices.
Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills are essential, along with the ability to deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budget.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in network security, cloud security, or related fields.
Extensive hands-on experience with Zscaler ZIA and ZPA deployments and configurations is required.
Strong knowledge of network security protocols, VPNs, proxy architectures, and identity-based security is necessary.
Experience integrating Zscaler with Azure, AWS, GCP, and enterprise authentication systems is essential.
Proficiency in traffic forwarding methods such as GRE, IPsec, PAC files, ZCC, and Z-Tunnel is required.
Candidates should have the ability to analyze and resolve Zscaler-related network performance issues.
An understanding of Zero Trust principles and Secure Web Gateway (SWG) architectures is necessary.
Strong troubleshooting skills using Wireshark, TCPDump, and Zscaler logs are required.
Previous consulting experience is mandatory.

The compensation range for this position is $160,000 - $200,000 a year, reflecting On-Target Earnings which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount.
