Remote Senior Technical Engineer L3 (AU MSP, Home-based)

Description:

• The Senior Technical Engineer L3 position is home-based and requires working Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM AEST.
• The role involves deploying solutions to SMB customers, maintaining best practice environments, and supporting servers, desktops, and applications in Microsoft Azure, on-premises, and M365 environments.
• Responsibilities include supporting Azure, Hyper-V, VMWare, and Citrix infrastructure, troubleshooting various technologies primarily in the Microsoft ecosystem, and maintaining the Cybersecurity program.
• The position also involves researching and implementing fixes for complex issues, providing remote service desk support, and assisting the helpdesk manager with technical requests and escalations.

Requirements:

• Tertiary Qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field are required.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a level 3 Technical Engineer in a global environment, preferably with an IT&T System Integrator or Managed Service Provider.
• Proficiency in end user support, Windows Server, Azure, O365, LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewalls, mail servers, databases, Azure, Hyper-V, VMWare, Citrix, ticketing systems, customer service principles, project delivery, remote desktop applications, and help desk software.
• Experience with cybersecurity products/principles and penetration testing is highly preferred.
• Nice to have: Industry experience in an AU Managed Services Provider Company, ITIL, Microsoft, Cybersecurity Certifications.
