Description:

  • The Senior Technical Engineer L3 will work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM AEST.
  • Required skills include tertiary qualifications in IT or related fields, 3+ years of experience as a level 3 Technical Engineer in a global environment, expertise in end user support, Windows Server, Azure, O365, LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewalls, mail servers, databases, Azure, Hyper-V, VMWare, Citrix, ticketing systems, customer service principles, project delivery, remote desktop applications, and help desk software.
  • Experience with cybersecurity products/principles and penetration testing is preferred.
  • Nice to have: Industry experience in an AU Managed Services Provider Company, ITIL, Microsoft, Cybersecurity Certifications.
  • Responsibilities include end-to-end project delivery, maintaining best practice environments, supporting servers, desktops, applications in Azure, on-premises, M365 environments, delivering support for Azure, Hyper-V, VMWare, Citrix infrastructure, troubleshooting, configuration, database administration, repair for various technologies, maintaining the cybersecurity program, and providing remote service desk support.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Previous role with an IT&T System Integrator, Managed Service Provider, or similar organization.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as level 3 as an MSP/Technical Engineer in a global environment.
  • Skills/Tools/Technologies needed: experience in end user support, Windows Server, Azure, O365, LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewalls, mail servers, databases, Azure, Hyper-V, VMWare, Citrix, ticketing systems, customer service principles, project delivery experience, remote desktop applications, and help desk software.
  • Experience with cybersecurity products/principles and penetration testing are highly preferred.
  • Nice to Have: Industry experiences working within AU Managed Services Provider Company, ITIL, Microsoft, Cybersecurity Certifications are desirable.
