The Senior Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the release quality of the product by identifying potential issues early in the development cycle, developing test plans and procedures, writing automated tests, coordinating with other teams, conducting exploratory testing, and developing quality metrics.
The ideal candidate is an experienced quality engineer who collaborates effectively with designers and software engineers, is detail-oriented, and can make quality trade-offs in a fast-paced software development environment.

Requirements:

Knowledge of industry-standard quality engineering practices and the ability to challenge conventional wisdom.
3+ years of experience in writing test automation for React-based or React-like web applications using tools like Mocha, Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
Experience implementing shift left methodologies to improve code quality.
Ability to mentor engineers in quality assurance practices and test automation.
Nice to have: experience with maintaining CI/CD pipelines, contract testing, visual regression testing, API endpoint testing, load and performance testing, log analysis tools like Datadog, Kibana, or Prometheus, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
