Remote Senior Test Engineer (Remote, Brazil)

Description:

• This is a contract position based in Brazil for 6 months, with potential for extension.
• Seeking a Senior Test Engineer to help enterprise clients develop interactive applications.
• Responsible for creating and executing automated test suites and conducting manual testing when needed.
• Nearform modernizes enterprises with open-source software and cloud-native solutions.
• Test Engineer role involves ensuring testing is integrated at all development levels.
• Must collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality agile products.
• Experience with third-party test runners, front-end testing frameworks, backend and API testing, NFR testing, and Lighthouse.
• Understanding of mobile application testing and highly scalable, maintainable code.
• Familiarity with Agile environments, translating product requirements into technical solutions, and building/improving automated test frameworks.
• Ability to influence test process changes within an agile team and integrate tests into CI pipelines.
• Occasional flexibility with working hours required.

Requirements:

• Fluent English and excellent communication skills (written and oral).
• Experience with third-party test runners like BrowserStack, SauceLabs.
• Proficiency in automated front-end testing frameworks like Cypress or Playwright.
• Knowledge of backend and API testing, NFR testing, and tools like Lighthouse.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and deliver quality agile products.
• Understanding of mobile application testing and highly scalable, maintainable code.
• Experience in Agile environments, translating product requirements into technical solutions.
• Proficiency in building and improving automated test frameworks and integrating tests into CI pipelines.
• Ability to influence test process changes within an agile team.
• Occasional flexibility with working hours.
