Develop and maintain trading systems for market making on behalf of the Avalanche Foundation, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Create integrations for order routing and market data with multiple exchanges, leveraging REST and websocket APIs.
Design and implement robust risk management and hedging solutions to reduce risk.
Optimize order placement algorithms to enhance execution efficiency, reduce slippage, and minimize funding rate payments.
Build comprehensive trade analytics scripts to monitor PNL, positions, and risk, providing actionable insights.
Continuously improve system performance and decrease latency to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Requirements:

B.S. in Computer Science or related discipline
5+ years experience in backend development
Experience with Python
Experience with financial systems, trading platforms, and exchanges
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Curiosity and self-learning: A strong curiosity and eagerness to learn, especially about the latest information in blockchain technology and finance
Self-driven mindset: Ability to identify opportunities and execute on them independently
