Remote Senior UI Engineer

Description:

• We are looking for a Senior UI Engineer to join our team and help us define the next phase of support tooling.
• Engineering at Plain involves owning and solving problems end to end, from product ideas and building APIs to refining UI details.
• The role involves shipping features to solve customer problems, validating ideas with customers, leading feature development, and ensuring feature adoption.
• You will work closely with the designer to ensure a top-notch user experience for every feature, focusing on copy, UI details, and polish.
• The position includes evolving and improving our in-house UI library and building blocks to enhance the quality of customer experiences.

Requirements:

• You should be driven by impact and enjoy working with high-EQ people, measuring the quality of your work by the end-user experience.
• Experience with modern, collaborative web applications that have a high performance and quality bar is required, along with proficiency in React, design systems, and modern application architectures.
• Comfort in building full-stack applications is necessary; you should be an expert in some areas and a generalist in others.
• A passion for iterating on interface design in code rather than strictly adhering to specifications is essential, as is the ability to tackle complex interaction and technical challenges.
