Description:
- The Senior UI Engineer at ClickUp will be responsible for setting the overall vision for the UI of the application and enforcing standards around UI & Design development.
- They will work closely with the product team, graphical designers, backend engineers, and quality assurance team to provide a world-class software platform.
- Responsibilities include contributing clean code following strict design rules and modern patterns, providing technical expertise to other engineering teams, and participating in UI & Design architecture councils.
- The role involves evaluating complex business requirements and translating them into actionable software items.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of working experience on large-scale JS/TS/CSS/SASS/HTML style products.
- 4+ years of experience with large design systems and tokens using Figma.
- Proficiency with TypeScript, Angular/React, and vanilla JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms like SASS and dynamic ones such as CSS-in-JS and CSS Variables.
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills are required.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
