Description:

The AI startup Xayn develops Noxtua, Europe’s first sovereign Legal AI that assists lawyers in analyzing and drafting legal documents while ensuring legal compliance.
Noxtua is hosted in the EU and adheres to high standards of confidentiality and data protection.
The company was founded in 2017 and has a workforce that includes approximately 30% PhDs, stemming from research at Oxford University and Imperial College London.
The Tech Team consists of around 10 members, including Frontend Engineers, a UI Designer, AI Engineers, and Backend/DevOps Engineers.
The Senior UI Engineer will be responsible for developing UI components using React and TypeScript, optimizing performance, implementing designs from Figma, integrating backend APIs, and ensuring clean code through testing and debugging.
The role includes end-to-end responsibility from design handover to backend integration and optimizing the tech stack for scalability.

Requirements:

Candidates must have working permission in Germany.
Fluency in English is required.
Experience across the full development lifecycle using React, TypeScript, Hooks, Context API, HTML5, CSS3, and Web Components is necessary.
Candidates should have backend integration experience with Node.js, API design, and authentication mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth, and Keycloak.
A proven track record of delivering results in fast-paced startup environments is essential.
Experience in optimizing technical debt and implementing best coding practices in previous roles is required.
Familiarity with tools such as Webpack, Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines is optional.

The position offers flexible working hours, with full-time options ranging from 32 to 40 hours per week.
