Crytek is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior UI Programmer to join the Hunt: Showdown development team.
The role involves developing tools and interaction methods for building user interfaces.
The Senior UI Programmer will collaborate closely with UX/UI Designers to influence the UI's construction and functionality.
Responsibilities include developing, testing, maintaining, and optimizing UI systems for various consoles and platforms using CRYENGINE and Flash.
The candidate will break long-term goals into manageable tasks to meet project schedules and complete tasks to a high-quality standard.
Clear, maintainable, and portable code must be written, along with technical and software design documents.
The position requires good communication skills and documentation creation as needed.
Close collaboration with UI Artists, UX Designers, and other Engineers is essential.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a UI Programmer in the games industry is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience is necessary.
Excellent programming skills in C++ and object-oriented programming are essential.
Strong knowledge of Flash and ActionScript is required.
The candidate must be comfortable working with Visual Studio and Adobe Flash CS6.
Experience on a UI-oriented project is necessary.
The candidate should have experience writing custom controls, skins, and other advanced UI features.
Familiarity with any game engines, preferably CRYENGINE, is required.
The candidate must be a team player and self-driven.
Solid English skills and good communication abilities with a strong affinity for transparency are essential.
