Carry1st is Africa’s leading publisher of mobile games and digital content, operating at the intersection of games, publishing, and fintech.
As a Senior Unity Engineer, you will be responsible for developing game features and collaborating closely with studio designers and artists to realize the shared vision of the game.
You will develop game features in Unity according to Game Design Documents.
You will develop tools for game designers and customer service to manage and support our games.
You will collaborate with artists and designers to integrate assets and optimize performance.
You will debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure a smooth player experience.
You will assist in maintaining the games build pipeline for accurate signing and distribution of games.

Requirements:

You should have over 3 years of experience in Game Development using Unity.
You must have experience with VCS tools, such as Git.
You should have experience with CI/CD tools, like Jenkins.
You must have experience with cloud infrastructure, such as Firebase.
A passion for games and knowledge of the mobile gaming industry is essential.
You should be self-motivated, possess problem-solving skills, and be able to work in a distributed team environment.
It is desired to have experience in release management and working with Google Play Console and App Store Connect.
A proven track record of shipped mobile games is also desired.
