The role of Senior Unity Engineer involves ensuring VR simulations meet customer requirements, provide immersive experiences, and reflect best engineering practices.
The engineer will collaborate on cross-functional projects, identify and solve complex problems, and contribute to high-quality code development.
The position is fully remote, with a preference for candidates based in the NY area for flexible team collaboration.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related certifications is required.
Candidates must have Unity expertise with published games or products.
Prior experience in gameplay engineering or simulation development is essential.
Proven experience working with teams and excellent communication skills are mandatory.
A minimum of 5 years of combined programming experience is required.
At least 3 years of experience developing with C# in Unity is necessary.
Experience in mobile development is preferred.
VR experience is strongly preferred.
Strong reporting and documentation skills are required.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence is necessary.
Proficiency in Git workflows is required.
Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is between $120K - $150K, depending on credentials, experience, and job location.
