Remote Senior Unreal Engineer

Description:

• Join a remote-friendly gaming startup as a Senior Unreal Engineer working on an exciting and fully funded game in Unreal Engine.
• Responsibilities include experimenting with game design, collaborating with art and design teams, prototyping and iterating on features, optimizing existing systems, and contributing ideas to game production and development.
• The role involves writing robust, maintainable, and performant code to support technical excellence across multiple platforms.

Requirements:

• Must have professional experience developing and shipping AAA games.
• Proficiency in developing games using UE4 and/or UE5.
• Strong C++ skills to code and architect gameplay mechanics, systems, and tools.
• Possess strong problem-solving and math skills, with the ability to analyze and articulate game design elements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a preference for experience in online games and live service game development.
• Console/mobile game development experience is required.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
• Deep interest in games and gaming industry trends.
